Gonzaga Prep Grad Looks For 'Big Break' on Golf Channel

The Golf Channel begins airing "Big Break Ireland" on Tuesday night, and there is one contestant that people in Spokane might recognize. Annie Brophy, a graduate of Gonzaga Prep, is in the competition.

Brophy competes against six men and five other women for two tournament exemptions in an LPGA, European and Ladies European Tour event. The winner also gets a cool $80,000 cash.

Brophy is a rookie on the LPGA Futures Tour and a graduate of Notre Dame University where she played golf.

Tuesday's episode on the Golf Channel airs at 6 p.m. (PT)
