In this week's edition of the Fitness Lowe-Down Leslie Lowe heads to the lake for a fun workout for your core. More specifically: paddle boarding.
Leslie and Michelle Dapper stopped by the Coeur d'Alene Paddle Board Company for some pointers on how to get a creative workout on the water. The basics of paddle boarding are:
- Face forward with legs shoulder-width apart
- Hold the paddle in front of you with two hands
- Paddle on one side, and then switch to the other side
Paddle boarding works the core of your body, as well as your shoulders and arms. Your legs get a decent workout too.
