Do you count yourself among the growing crowd of sports fans who think baseball games last too long - especially Yankees-Red Sox games? New York Yankees' first baseman Mark Teixeira does.
Speaking to Tyler Kepner of the New York Times, Teixiera said, "It's brutal. I can't stand playing a nine-inning game in four hours. It's not baseball. I don't even know how to describe it. If I was a fan, why would I want to come to watch people sitting around and talking back and forth, going to the mound, 2-0 sliders in the dirt? Four-hour games can't be fun for a fan, either."
Talk about brutal. He didn't hold back!
Teixiera said the games moved much quicker in the National League where he played before joining the AL Yankees.
What do you think? Do baseball games go too long?
