Classes have begun at Washington State University, adding one more thing to the plate of the football team and all of the student athletes at WSU participating in Fall sports.  The Cougars have been at fall camp since August 7th in preparation for the season opener on September 3rd.

Going to classes, while continuing to attend football practices can be quite a test, but it's all part of playing college sports.

"The grind is a part of it," Cougar Safety Tyree Toomer told SWX.  "Every team in the country is going through it.  That's what football is about, when your fatigued mentally and physically, it's how your able to play when your tired- can you push through it."

Head coach Paul Wulff has been happy with the effort his players have put into practice thus far and understands the importance of getting settled into class.

"The works been getting done, so that has allowed us to pull back a little bit and keep them fresh," said Wulff.

The Cougars kick off the 2011 season at home against Idaho State September 3rd at 2 o'clock.
