Central Valley will have four games live on SWX-TV this fall (Photo: SWX)The high school football season on SWX is less than a month away, with more than 20 games from Tri-Cities to North Idaho slated to air live on TV this fall.
News this year: SWX partnered with a handful of teams from the Big 9 to bring a total of seven games to the airwaves in Kennewick, Richland, Pasco and Prosser. The first CBBN game is a September 2 matchup between Kamiakin and 2A Prosser. Week three features a game between Kennewick and Kamiakin – two rivals who finished at or near the top of the 3A ranks last season. Prosser plays Ellensburg on September 30, followed by games between Southridge and Kamiakin (Oct. 7); Southridge versus Kennewick (Oct. 21) and Moses Lake against Richland (Oct. 28).
In the Spokane-North Idaho region, Lakeland and Lake City kick off the season August 26. The two other televised Inland Empire League games this year include Lake City at Post Falls (Sept. 30) and Lewiston vs. Coeur d'Alene (Oct. 14).
The first Greater Spokane League game to be televised this season will be a September 2 matchup between Mt. Spokane and Central Valley. The season features three double-headers live from Joe Albi Stadium, featuring Ferris, Shadle, North Central, Rogers, Central Valley, Mead and Lewis and Clark High Schools – including the LC vs. Ferris grudge match on Oct. 21.
