With the fourth playoff spot out of the National Conference already clinched, many wonder what the Spokane Shock have to play for tonight at Jacksonville.  Besides keeping up their momentum gained the past couple of weeks, and re familiarizing starting quarterback Kyle Rowley with his receivers, the Shock actually have one other thing to play for.  If they win tonight and go to 10-8, and Georgia and Orlando both lose this weekend, there is a scenario where Spokane could actually host the Arena Bowl this year.

Should the Shock make the Arena Bowl and either Georgia or Orlando make it out of the American Conference with a 10-8 record, Spokane would own the tie-breaker and host the Arena Bowl.

"It's not a good chance but it's a chance," said Shock starting quarterback Kyle Rowley.  "If that happens it's a huge advantage for us."

First things first, Shock take on the Sharks tonight in Jacksonville at 5 o'clock.
