For those who watched Randy Hymes come down with the ball in the end zone last Saturday night in Spokane, it was obvious: that HAD to be the best highlight in all of the AFL that week. And it was.

The league handed out its weekly awards on Tuesday, giving honoring Hymes – and quarterback Kyle Rowley – for the 34-yard touchdown catch that saved the Shock's season. The play gave Spokane a 63-61 win over San Jose and guaranteed them a spot in the playoffs.

In his first game with the Shock after signing last week, Hymes caught 12 passes for 100 yards and four touchdowns. The winning touchdown was No. 9 on SportCenter's Top 10 plays from the weekend.

The Shock play Friday night at Jacksonville in both teams' regular season finale. The game will be shown nationwide on NFL Network.
