Indians Beat Everett, Ease Back Into Tie With Boise

Updated:

The Spokane Indians eased back into a first place tie with Boise Wednesday night with a win over the Everett AquaSox.

Spokane, down four players because of this week's suspensions, beat the AquaSox 6-3.

Starting pitcher Francisco Mendoza (2-1) earned the win for Spokane. The Indians had seven hits to Everett's 6, including home runs from catcher Brett Nicholas and second baseman Edwin Garcia.

The Indians play at Everett again on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Their next home game is Monday against Boise.
