Back on March 11, the San Jose Sabercats throttled the Spokane Shock by the final of 76-48.  Shock head coach Rob Keefe hasn't forgotten that game.  It was the first game of the regular season, and Spokane would go on to lose two more, starting 0-3 on the year.  Now the two play again, this time in Spokane with a potential playoff spot on the line.

Spokane (8-8) controls their own destiny to make the post-season.  San Jose (7-9) has to win to keep their hopes alive.  Back to coach Keefe, he was not happy with that game back in March, not only with the outcome but with the way his team was treated while in San Jose.

"We felt very disrespected," said Keefe.  "It was 76-48, just a shellacking down there, they really put it to us.  It was the way they did it.  They were loud, spiking balls in our faces, fans were pouring beer on us.  We're glad we have this game here so we can win it and send them packing."

Saturday's game gets underway at 7pm at the Spokane Arena.
