Fever Trying to Fix inconsistencies

Posted: Updated:

Kennewick, WA---

Inconsistencies have plagued the Fever the last three games. The Fever going 1-2 in that stretch, costing Tri-Cities the Pacific Division title.  A point of concern heading into the last week of the regular season, where Tri-Cities takes on Seattle on the road this Sunday.

At the heart of the problems would be the offense. A unit that's seen a rise in turnovers in the last three games, with quarterback Houston Lillard throwing 8 interceptions.

Lillard said, "With me I wouldn't say it's a lack of trust. I think it's just me knowing that I feel like I have to do more than I need to do. Instead of running the offense trying to create too many plays, and just doing things out of character that I normally wouldn't do."

Head Coach Adam Shackleford added, "He's certainly done something that we certainly need to change, and he knows that. He needs to understand he's got people around him to help him. He doesn't have to make the plays all by himself."
