Everyone knows John Stockton. His son, David, had a breakout year of sorts with the Gonzaga Bulldogs last year. And then there's Michael Stockton, John's other son who just might find his way into the NBA.
Michael, who played at Westminster College in Salt Lake City last year and graduated last week, had a workout on Tuesday with his father's former team, the Utah Jazz.
This is an absolute dream come true to put this logo on and play a little bit," Stockton said in a statement following the workout. "Whether this means anything going forward or not, this was fun."
According to the Salt Lake Tribune, Jazz general manager Kevin O'Connor said there might be a chance to get Michael on the team for summer league play this year. He worked out alongside BYU guard Jackson Emery, guard Mustapha Farrakhan (Virginia), and guard Brady Morningstar (Kansas).
And if he can't catch on in the NBA, Michael told the newspaper he will play overseas – probably in Europe.
