The NFL may still be in a lockout but that didn't stop this year's class of rookies from getting together for the annual rookie photo shoot in Los Angeles over the weekend. Among those participating was former Eastern Eagle Taiwan Jones and Washington Husky quarterback Jake Locker.

Jones, drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the fourth round, strutted his stuff in black and silver.

"I look good, don't you think it looks good on me?" he asked a reporter in the room.

And he's definitely excited to be playing close to home in Oakland.

"It's like a home game for me, I was born and raised in the Bay Area. So being part of the Raiders, it's only right, it feels good."

Former UW product, Jake Locker was also at the photo shoot over the weekend. Chosen No. 8 overall by the Tennessee Titans, Locker said he's glad to be a Titan.

"To see yourself on a card, like what I collected when I was a little kid, is pretty cool," he said. "I think that sums it up more than anything. I'm just proud to have this uniform on and be a part of this organization. I'm looking forward to competing for them."

Other rookies in attendance included Cam Newton (Carolina Panthers), Mark Ingram (New Orleans Saints), Colin Kaepernick (San Francisco 49ers), Julio Jones (Atlanta Falcons) and others.

Players are still locked out by the NFL and won't know anything more until June 3 when a judge hears the league's full appeal of an injunction. The NFL is expected to win the appeal, meaning the lockout would continue.
