Every year there are a select handful of high school basketball players in the Northwest that amaze the crowds, wow the fans and impress the scouts. SWX, in an effort to bring greater recognition to the players in our area, have come up with a collection of players we think deserve some special recognition.

We've come up with the top ten – five boys and five girls – from schools all over the northern section of our viewing area. Now we're asking you – the viewer – to take it one step further by selecting the SWX Player of the Year.

Cast your vote in our poll above, and we'll recognize the winner this Friday on SWX's Friday Night FastBreak.

Happy voting!
