SPOKANE, Wash. - While it's certain Friday night marks the final game of the 2010 season for the Shock, it could also mark the final game - ever - for Spokane's star receiver, Raul Vijil.

Vijil will be on the sidelines during Friday's Arena Bowl. He's still recovering from a season-ending knee injury he suffered in late June.

The 5-foot-9 receiver who played his college ball at Eastern Washington owns eight franchise records in Spokane and is the only man to have played for the Shock in all five years of the team's existence.

There is a very real chance he won't be back for year number six.

"I'm going to do some rehabilitation to get my injury back to where it needs to be and see what the future holds for me," said Vijil during Thursday's media day. "If I come back, I'm going to come back full force. If I decide to move on, than that's it. I've had a lot of fun here in Spokane the last five years. I thank the fans, I thank the organization, I thank everyone that's been involved throughout my career. It's been a lot of fun."

Vijil said it's still "up in the air" whether he's going to be able to come back from his injury.

This year alone he racked up 1,083 yards on 82 catches and scored 33 touchdowns.
