TULSA -- One of Arena Football's most legendary quarterbacks, Kurt Warner, will be in the booth as an analyst for Thursday's NFL Network broadcast of the National Conference Championship game. The No. 1 seeded Spokane Shock will be hosting the No. 2 Milwaukee Iron, with the winner continuing on to ArenaBowl XXIII. This will be Warner's second appearance behind the microphone for the NFL Network this season.

"I am honored to be an analyst for a second AFL game this season," Warner said. "I really enjoyed my first experience in the booth with the NFL Network and look forward to all the excitement and energy that comes with playoff arena football."

Warner also announced the May 21 Arizona versus Iowa game in what was dubbed "Kurt Warner Night." Warner played three seasons with the Barnstormers, leading them to back-to-back ArenaBowl appearances in 1996 and 1997. He went on to play in the NFL, where he was a two-time NFL MVP as well as the MVP in Super Bowl XXIV where he led the St. Louis Rams to a win over the Tennessee Titans. Warner appeared in two Super Bowls with the Rams and went on to lead the Arizona Cardinals to the Super Bowl for the first time in franchise history in Super Bowl XLIII.

"Having Kurt back announcing a second game for us is a true honor," said AFL Commissioner Jerry B. Kurz. "His expertise and professional analysis is unparalleled and a perfect fit for the already outstanding commentary of the NFL Network."

Thursday's game is set to kick off at 5 pm PST. The winner will be facing the victor of Saturday's No. 3 Tampa Bay versus No. 4 Orlando game in ArenaBowl XXIII, scheduled for August 20.
