SPOKANE, Wash. - Arena football fans may have already heard the rumor going around that an arena legend is coming to Spokane this week.  Those rumors aren't rumors.

Kurt Warner, who got his start with the Iowa Barnstormers, will be in the Lilac City on Thursday to add color commentary to the NFL Network's broadcast of the Shock-Iron playoff game. The matchup is the National Conference championship game, with the winner advancing to the Arena Bowl.

Warner, a former AFL star, played with the St. Louis Rams where won two MVP awards - one in 1999 and another in 2001. He also took the Arizona Cardinals to the Super Bowl in 2008.

Thursday's game at Spokane Arena starts at 5 p.m. (PT).
