If anyone thought that the Indians - AquaSox series wasn't going to get physical, they were wrong. Tonight in what looked like a heavyweight fight, Spokane prevailed 6-2 in front of 4,100 loud Indians fans.

Everett looked to have the momentum early, scoring two runs in the first two innings off of Indians starting pitcher Randol Rojas. The second run, a collision at the plate between Everett catcher Steven Baron, and Spokane catcher Yefry Castillo, saw Baron winning round one.

The Indians answered in the fifth inning, outfielder Jason Kudlock scored off a double by Castillo. Spokane tied the game when Michael Olt scored on a fielder's choice in the sixth. Spokane scored four in the seventh inning, starting with another collision at the plate between outfielder Guillermo Pimentel and Baron. Pimentel delivered the knockout blow on the play as Baron was slow to get up and the Indians would go on to win the game.

Indians' relief pitcher Justin Earls took over in the fifth inning for Rojas, earning the win for Spokane. The win was his first as a professional.

The Indians are home tomorrow night at Avista Stadium starting at 6:30pm for the finaleof the five game series with the AquaSox.  Tomorrow is the Rally Towel Giveaway presented by Spokane Tribe of Indians, 98.9 KKZX and Davenport Times.
