SEATTLE - The Mariners have activated shortstop Jack Wilson from the disabled list and optioned infielder Matt Tuiasosopo to Triple-A Tacoma.
The moves were made before Seattle's game Sunday against Cincinnati.
Wilson left a game against Tampa Bay on May 5 after one at-bat with a right hamstring strain. He was placed on the disabled list May 12, retroactive to May 6. Wilson was batting .253 with seven RBIs in 25 starts at shortstop before going on the DL. He was sent on a rehab assignment with Tacoma two weeks ago. In nine games with Tacoma, Wilson batted .314 with two doubles and a home run.
Wilson was not in the starting lineup against the Reds on Sunday but was in uniform.
