The Spokane Shock responded Tuesday to comments made by Orlando defensive back Kenny McEntyre, after telling the Orlando Sentinel "There's no excuse to get beat by a bunch of Arena [League] 2 players. Our quarterback has got to get a lot better. Not the offense, the quarterback. One [person] can't hold up the show."More >>

Even taking a week off didn't hurt top-ranked Jacksonville. The Sharks, who had a bye, kept their top spot atop the latest AFL coaches poll, with Spokane still in the No. 2 position.

In fact, twelve teams were unaffected in the rankings after last week's games. Milwaukee remained at No. 3, followed by Arizona and Chicago.

Both the Iron and Rattlers received first place votes after winning home games in Week 10. Arizona is the only team in the top 5 with just six wins. They face Bossier-Shreveport this week.

The game to watch this week – other than the Shock-Tulsa game – is the one between No. 3 Milwaukee and No. 5 Chicago. The two teams are playing each other for the second time this season. Milwaukee won the first round. A win by Chicago would place them at the top of the Midwest Division.

The top seven teams all had wins this past week. Four teams have now won seven games with seven weeks still remaining in the season.
