SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane receiver Raul "The Thrill" Vijil was named the Offensive Player of the Week in the AFL on Monday, while the league's Catch of the Week went to another Shock player, Kevin McCullough.
Vijil registered a season-high seven touchdown catches against the No. 1 Jacksonville Sharks to lead the Shock to a 67-57 upset at Spokane Arena on Saturday. He hauled in all but one Shock touchdown, gaining a total of 130 yards on 11 catches. After fumbling the ball on

Spokane's first offensive series, he came back to give the Shock its first lead of the game with a 16-yard touchdown catch in the second half.
McCullough was awarded the Catch of the Game for his interception of Sharks' quarterback Aaron Garcia in the first half. McCullough grabbed Garcia's pass with one hand and then dove across the goal line for the Shock's final score of the first quarter.
