SPOKANE, Wash. - In a move to shore up a defensive backfield that's literally been hurting since before the season began, the Shock on Wednesday said they had signed a defensive back who originally spent time with the NFL's Indianapolis Colts.
Antwan Marsh is officially on the Shock Roster.
"Antwan Marsh is a very versatile player and I'm excited to add him to our roster and tech him the game of Arena Football," said head coach Rob Keefe in a news release. "He is extremely athletic and I think a lot of his abilities are well suited for the indoor game."

The 6-3, 210 lb. defensive back signed with the Colts as a free agent and was released in mini-camp. He played at Pikeville College where he was a three-year starter after transferring from Copiah-Lincoln (Miss.) Junior College. As a senior, he collected 70 tackles – including six for a loss – one sack, two forced fumbles and three interceptions. He was the conference's Defensive Player of the Year as both a junior and a senior.
Marsh is eligible to play in Saturday's game against Utah in Spokane. It's still unclear whether he'll play.
