SPOKANE, WA -- Four errors doomed Gonzaga in a 3-1 non-conference loss to Washington Tuesday night at the Patterson Baseball Complex.

Liam Baron (0-3) took the loss despite allowing just one earned run in 7.2 innings pitched as the Bulldogs fell to 11-16 on the season.  Ernesto Ortiz accounted for Gonzaga's only run, leading off the 6th inning with a solo homerun off Huskies starting pitcher Forrest Snow.  Snow (3-0) struck out six batters and walked just one Bulldog, while Adrian Gomez and Jacob Clem combined for four innings of scoreless relief.

Gonzaga mustered just one hit through the first six innings and had been held scoreless until Ortiz's second homerun of the season.

The Bulldogs and Huskies wrap up their two-game non-conference series Wednesday at 2 pm, before Gonzaga opens WCC play this weekend at San Francisco.
