North Idaho College star commits to Seattle U

North Idaho College men's basketball player Taylor Stevens has accepted a scholarship offer to play for new head coach Cameron Dollar at Seattle University next year.

Stevens is a 6-foot-7-inch sophomore wing from Seattle. He is averaging 8.2 points per game this season and is currently fourth in the Scenic West Athletic Conference in three-point field goal percentage at 39 percent. He was third in the conference at 44 percent last season. Stevens is also on the student-athlete honor roll for NIC.

He attended Marysville-Pilchuck High School where he averaged 20.6 points and 9 rebounds per game during his senior year. He was named to the All-Area team and was most valuable player.

Taylor is the son of Brian and Greta Stevens.
