Ben Crane might have won the Farmers Insurance Open, but the Ferris High School grad Alex Prugh is getting plenty of attention of his own after finishing in the top five at Torrey Pines over the weekend.

Crane won his third PGA Tour title by shooting a 2-under 70 on Sunday. He finished 13 under par. That was one mark better than Mark Leishman, Brandt Snedeker and Michael Sim. Ernie Els, Rickie Fowlers and Prugh finished tied for fifth.

Prugh shot six-under par for a 66 in the final round in La Jolla, Calif. - the second-lowest round of the day. He picked up a check for $186,000.

Sunday's finish is Prugh's second top 5 finish on the PGA Tour in this, his rookie season. He also finished fifth at the Bob Hope Classic last week.
