POST FALLS, Idaho - With a single-loss season in jeopardy, the Post Falls Trojans used overtime to get what they wanted: a win over a pesky Sandpoint team in a contest seen live on SWX-TV and SWXRightNow.com.

While the Trojans held a four-point lead at halftime, the second half - particularly the 4th quarter - belonged to the Bulldogs. Senior guard Steffan Buratto was instrumental for Sandpoint, not only in the last stanza, but throughout the game. He scored 42 points against the Post Falls defense and almost hit a 3-pointer at the end of regulation that would have won the game.

After outscoring Post Falls 19-12 in the 4th quarter, Sandpoint went cold in overtime. The Trojans pounded the Bulldogs 21-2 in the extra period and went on to win 94-75.

Colbert brothers Marcus and Malcom scored a combined 41 points for Post Falls. Connor Hill added 13.

Buratto's 42 points was the game-high for both teams, but junior wingman Blaine Shultz added 17 points for the Bulldogs.

Sandpoint hosts Moscow next Tuesday, while Post Falls travels to Lewiston this Saturday.
