SPOKANE, Wash. - Washington State football coach Paul Wulff says the Cougars plan to sign a couple of junior college players to provide immediate help on their offensive line.

The line was a special problem as the Cougars stumbled to a 1-11 season and lost all nine of their Pac-10 games.

Wulff also says he believes the Cougars can qualify for a bowl next year, especially if their quarterbacks and offensive line play well. He says he's excited about the incoming recruiting class, and adds that running back James Montgomery should be able to recover from a catastrophic leg injury and play next season.
