Rogers High School alum Levi Horn received an honorable mention on the College Sporting News' preseason Football Championship Subdivision All-America team.

Horn, a tight end for the University of Montana, played in all 12 games last season. He started in two games: at left tackle against Sacramento State and at left guard against Northern Colorado. The former Rogers standout transferred to Montana from Oregon following the 2005 season when he was moved from tight end to right tackle.

Horn was a standout tight end at Rogers until he graduated in 2005. As a Pirate, he caught 37 passes for 850 yards and six touchdowns in 10 games. He was selected first-team All-State in 4A by both the Associated Press and WashingtonPreps.com.

This year he's competing for the starting job at left tackle with fellow junior Chris Dyk.

Montana running back Chase Reynolds and receiver Marc Mariani received second team honors, as did Montana State offensive guard Jeff Hansen. Montana State defensive end Dane Fletcher also received honorable mention.
