Trio of running backs try to improve ground game

One of the big questions for the Seattle Seahawks this fall will be how the team handles the situation at running back.

In contrast with prior years, there doesn't appear to be a so-called "featured back" in this year's offense. The Seahawks have several options this season, and it appears they intend to use all of them.  Julius Jones may get the bulk of the workload, but T.J. Duckett and second-year back Justin Forsett will add some variety.

"You can't really go through the season by yourself, it's impossible," Jones said at training camp on Thursday.  "You gotta have two backs, definitely a bigger back to take more of the grunt work is always a good thing."

Whomever carries the ball for the ‘Hawks, they'll have the formidable task of improving on last year's disappointing numbers.
