Price tag is sticking point

The Seahawks top draft pick, Aaron Curry has yet to show up for training camp as his people continue to hammer out a contract with the team's front office.

The Seahawks' general manager, Tim Ruskell told the Associated Press that the contract negotiations amount to a "nonstop" effort.  The sticking point is Curry's agents demanding their client get as much as the No. 5 draft pick, Mark Sanchez, got from the New York Jets: $28 million guaranteed.

The Seahawks are balking at that amount, saying quarterbacks traditionally get more money than players at other positions.

Trufant out with sore back; Seahawks sign Fisher
The Seahawks added veteran cornerback Travis Fisher to the team over the weekend to make up for a dicey situation in that position.  Former Cougar Marcus Trufant is out indefinitely because of a sore back, so Fisher was brought in with a one-year deal as a backup plan.  Coach Jim Mora told the Seattle PI that Trufant is being held out as a precaution and said his injury wasn't serious.
