Yakima falls to Boise 6-0

BOISE, Idaho - Greg Rohan went 2-for-4 with three RBI, including a long two-run home run in the eighth, as the Boise Hawks completed a three-game sweep of the Yakima, blanking the Bears, 6-0.

It marked the first shutout for the Hawks this season, as four pitchers combined on the four-hitter - Boise's first since Aug. 30 of last year.

Robert Hernandez scattered two hits in four innings of work, but it was Yohan Gonzalez who picked his first win of the season, striking out two and retiring the final eight men he faced.

Logan Watkins extended his hitting streak to nine games with a first inning single, while Runey Davis, Jae-Hoon Ha, Hak-Ju Lee, and Rohan all had multi-hit games.

Boise goes for four-straight wins tomorrow night, beginning a five-game series with Salem-Keizer at 7:15 p.m. Tarlandus Mitchell gets the start for the Hawks.
