The Spokane Indians pounded out 13 hits, scored 18 runs and handily beat the Everett AquaSox Wednesday night on the west side.  The same two teams play again on Thursday.

Spokane didn't get off to the best of starts, allowing 6 runs in the first inning.  A run in the second, three in the third and seven in the fourth gave them an 11-6 lead.  Seven more runs in the sixth inning sealed the win, as both teams were held scoreless for the remaining three innings.

Spokane's Aja Barto hit 2 home runs, while Vincent DiFazio, Denny Duron and former WSU Cougar Jared Prince all hit one home run apiece.

Thursday's game gets started in Everett at 7:05, followed by games on Friday and Saturday.  The Indians return to Spokane with a game against Tri-City on Sunday evening.
