COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho - The Region finally did it. After 15 years of being shut out by the Metro in the Jack Blair Memorial Girls Basketball Classic, the girls from North Idaho stuck it to the team from the Spokane area, beating them 92-74 Monday at Lake City High School.

The Region All-Stars broke out to an early 18-2 lead and never looked back.  Camille Reynolds, a senior at Lakeland headed to North Idaho College, was named the game's most valuable player.  She scored 19 points and added eight rebounds, four steals and one assist.

Lake City's Katie Baker, who's headed to the University of Montana next year, scored 18, along with seven rebounds, three steals two assists and one block.

Mead senior Tifa Puletasi of Metro was named the most inspirational player.  She scored 13 points in the loss to The Region.
