Seahawks not talking about Vick

Posted: Updated:

RENTON, Wash. - Atlanta West is all quiet on Michael Vick. The Seahawks kept coach Jim Mora, who coached the freed-from-prison quarterback in Atlanta from 2004-06, from talking Thursday after practice.

The team doesn't want to speak officially on Vick before NFL commissioner Roger Goodell decides whether to reinstate him. Vick is suspended following his conviction on dogfighting charges.

Seahawks offensive coordinator Greg Knapp says only that they got along well in Atlanta. But Knapp says it would be tough for a quarterback to play again after being out of the league for two years.

Vick does have a voice of support in fellow quarterback Matt Hasselbeck. He says Vick has always been great to him and that Vick deserves a second chance in the league after he finishes two months of home confinement.
