Sounders aim to improve on 4-game unbeaten streak

The Seattle Sounders, in just their first year in existence, have a four-game unbeaten streak after tying FC Dallas 1-1 over the weekend.  They'll look to continue or improve that run this coming weekend.

The Sounders are now 4-2-3.

Seattle's score on Saturday against Dallas came in the 18th minute when Jhon Kennedy Hurtado tapped in a shot from 12 yards away into an empty net for his first career MLS goal.  The goal was quite a birthday present for the young man who turned 25-years-old on the same day.

The Sounders played without right back James Riley, who sat out because of a red-card suspension.  Left-back Nathan Sturgis and midfielder Freddie Ljungberg were also missing - Sturgis because of an injury, Ljungberg because of a migraine headache.  Zach Scott left the game early because of an abdominal strain.

The Sounders next game is Saturday when they plan at Colorado.
