There seems to be momentum among expert circles that the ‘Hawks are zeroing in on USC quarterback Mark SanchezJason La Confora writes for the Washington Post, "I continue to hear that the Skins' primary focus is to move up to draft USC quarterback Mark Sanchez".

La Canfora writes Washington has "begun to send out feelers" to find out what it would take to get Seattle pick, and that the Seahawks would likely seek two first-round picks.

If the ‘Skins don't get Sanchez, it's probably they'll try to draft Brian Orakpo if he's available.  The defensive end from Texas has visited Washington, Cleveland, Denver and Houston.  Some believe he'll be taken as high as fifth.

Eric Williams of The News Tribune wrote Thursday the ‘Hawks will take Sanchez at No. 4 to eventually take Matt Hasselbeck's place as the franchise quarterback.  However, he also quoted Rob Rang from as opining Seattle could still take Aaron Curry, Michael Crabtree, Eugene Monroe or Jason Smith.
