Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (2-0, 345 points, 4 first place votes) maintained its place at No. 2 after a 70-28 home victory on Friday against Albany. Arkansas (2-0, 299 points) improved one spot to No. 3 this week while Oklahoma City moved up three spots from No. 7 to No. 4. The Yard Dawgz (288 points) improved to 2-0 after a 66-58 home win against South Georgia on Saturday. Iowa is another new entry into the Top-5 this week. The Barnstormers (2-0, 271 points) defeated No. 3 Tulsa at home last week, 73-68, to jump up four positions on the poll. The Talons (1-1) slipped to No. 9 overall with the loss.

Each week during the season af2 coaches will vote for the Top 16 teams in the league by ranking them one through 16 on a ballot. Teams ranked first receive 16 points with the point value decreasing by one for each place below first, meaning a team ranked 16th would receive one point. Total points will determine the Top 16 list. In the event of a tie in total points, the team with the greater number of first-place votes will be ranked higher. The af2 Coaches Poll will be announced every Wednesday during the regular season. Coaches are not allowed to vote for their own team and the poll results have no bearing on postseason qualification. The complete Top 16 is listed below. The number in parentheses indicates the number of first place votes the team received.
