SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Chiefs live to see another game, beating Vancouver 5-2 Tuesday night to bring the series to 1-2 in favor of the Giants.  The win assures a game four to be played in Spokane, as well as a game five which will be played in Vancouver on Friday.

The Chiefs struck first when Trevor Glass fed Levko Koper for a power play goal at 8:20 in the first period.  Glass's initial shot bounced off the goalpost and bounced back to Koper, who slapped it in for the score.

Later in the first, Vancouver's Craig Cunningham sent the puck ahead to Lance Bourma on the break.  Bourma tapped it past Dustin Tokarski for the go-ahead goal.

The Chiefs controlled the puck in the second period.  Mitch Wahl fired from the blue line, and Jared Spurgeon cleaned up the junk to tie the score at 2.

Spokane took the lead in the third period when Drayson Bowman scored on a feed from Brady Valla.  Justin McCrae scored goal number four, and Mike Reddington scored the fifth goal to seal the win.

The Chiefs outshot Vancouver 30-18 and held the Giants to just two shots on goal in the third period.  Spokane was 1-3 on the power play and 3-4 on the penalty kill.

The Chiefs and Giants play game four Wednesday night in Spokane.  Game five is Friday in Vancouver.
