SEATTLE - The Spokane Chiefs took a commanding two game lead over Seattle Wednesday night, beating the Thunderbirds 3-2 in game four in the opening round of the playoffs.

Justin McCraw gave Spokane the lead 3:21 into the game with his first goal of the playoffs.  Dustin Donaghy was credited with the assist.  Seattle then scored two goals in less than three minutes to take a 2-1 lead.  But Spokane wasn't finished.

Onreh Roman scored his first game-winning power play goal in the second period - his first goal of the postseason.  He was assisted by Trevor Glass and Drayson Bowman.

Spokane outshot Seattle 37-30, despite going 1-5 on the power play and 3-3 on the penalty kill.

The Chiefs return to Spokane for game five Saturday night at Spokane Arena.  The game was originally scheduled for Friday, but was changed due to the Gonzaga Bulldogs' basketball game going on at the same time.
