Chiefs take 2-1 series lead with win over Seattle

SEATTLE - Advantage Spokane.  The Chiefs took care of business in Seattle Tuesday night, beating the team from the west side 5-1 to take a one game lead in the best of seven series.

Seattle took the lead early on when Colin Jacobs scored his first WHL goal 7:13 into the game.  But the Chiefs' Tyler Johnson had an answer, taking a feed from Mitch Wahl and backhanding it into the net to tie the game.

Spokane scored on subsequent plays by Stephan Ulmer, Levko Koper (2 goals), and Johnson again. At 16:51 in the second period.

The Chiefs outshot Seattle 34-33 and went 2-2 on the power play and 6-6 on the penalty kill.

The two teams meet again in game four on Wednesday night in Seattle.
