SPOKANE, Wash. -  The Spokane Shock announced today that WR Billy Pittman has been traded to the Arkansas Twisters for future considerations. In other roster moves, the Shock released OL Joel Clinger, OL Bobby Byrd, DL Wilson Afoa and DB Tremaine Tyler.

All of the players involved in today's transactions played in the Shock's preseason win over the Arkansas Twisters, 35-28 on March 18th. Pittman recorded one catch for four yards, Tyler tallied three tackles and Afoa registered 1.5 tackles including a sack.

The Shock will open the 2009 regular season on April 3rd as they host the Stockton Lightning at the Spokane Arena at Spokane Tribe Field. Single game tickets and season tickets for the defending National Conference Champion Shock are on sale now.
