MOSCOW, Idaho - Vandal faithful packed Memorial Gym in Moscow Wednesday night and witnessed something that hasn't happened for a very long time: Idaho played in - and won  - its first postseason basketball in 19 years.

Idaho survived a wild final 10 seconds, holding on for a 69-67 win over visiting Drake in the first round of the Collegeinsider.com Postseason Tournament.  The Vandals allowed Drake to go on an 11-0 run to come within one point with less than a minute remaining in the game.  Idaho then let the shot clock wind down and missed a 3-pointer, giving the Bulldogs a chance at winning the game.  Drake's Craig Stanley missed a layup that would have given them the lead, so they fouled Idaho's Trevor Morris with 4.3 seconds left, and then again with 1.5 seconds, sealing the win for the Vandals.

Five Idaho players scored in double figures, with Trevor Morris leading the way with 16.  He shot 4-of-7 from beyond the 3-point line.  Brandon Wiley Kashif Watson  both scored 13, while Luciano de Souza scored 11 points on three 3-point shots.

Wednesday's win was the first postseason victory for Idaho since 1982.  They advance to play in the second round against Pacific on Monday in Stockton, California.
