Gonzaga volleyball drops final match at Arizona State’s Sparky Classic

TEMPE, Ariz. – Gonzaga’s volleyball team completed its stay at the Sparky Classic with a 0-3 record, losing to Northern Arizona 3-0 on Saturday.

Ryann Davis had a match-high 12 kills for the Lumberjacks (8-5), who scored the final two points of the first set for a 25-23 win.

Sarah Penner had eight kills, and Kennedy Croft added seven kills and six digs for the Bulldogs (3-8). Also for GU, Tiyana Hallums (22 digs) and Mary Marzo (21 assists) had match highs.

Gonzaga will open West Coast Conference play at 6 p.m. Thursday at home against Loyola Marymount.
