Weekend weather: Mixture of rain and snow likely to continue

Warmer temperatures and rain, mixed with brief spurts of snow, will continue through the week and into the weekend.

Thursday there will be rain with a high of 43 degrees, the National Weather Service reports. The chance of precipitation is 90 percent. Friday morning there is a chance of rain and snow before 2 a.m. turning to snow.

Friday there could be more snow before 9 a.m. followed by rain and snow with a high of 39 degrees. Friday night there is a 30 percent chance of snow after 10 p.m. As much as half an inch of new snow could accumulate, according to the National Weather Service.

Saturday morning it could snow in the morning, followed by rain in the afternoon. The chance of precipitation is 30 percent with a high of 39 degrees.

On Sunday it’s expected to snow before 2 p.m. and then a mixture of rain and snow in the afternoon followed by rain. The chance of precipitation is 90 percent with a high of 39 degrees.
