Friends of Scotchman Peaks host Rich Landers January 13

CONSERVATION – Former Spokesman-Review outdoors editor Rich Landers will talk about his career, Jan. 13.

The longtime journalist for the Spokesman-Review retired in December. Landers will speak at the Panida Theater in Sandpoint, Idaho. His talk, “40 ‘Rich’ Years in the Great Outdoors,” will talk about his career at the Spokesman-Review.

“Rich has been one of the best supporters of the Friends proposal over the years,” said FSPW executive director Phil Hough in a news release. “We look forward to hearing great stories about his adventures both locally and around the world.”

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The presentation starts at 7:30 p.m.

The event will celebrate the 13th anniversary of FSPW. There will be a silent auction and Landers’ guidebooks will be available for purchase.

Tickets are $5.00, and available at Eichardt’s Pub, Bonners Books in Bonners Ferry, online at and at the Panida.
