Clarkston native Joel Dahmen added to U.S. Open field

It was a long wait for Clarkston native Joel Dahmen, but it was worth it. Dahmen’s chances of earning a spot in the 119th U.S. Open were good after he finished as the first alternate in a large sectional qualifier in Columbus, Ohio, packed with PGA players. Dahmen received word Sunday that he had been added to the 156-player field. The third major of the season unfolds Thursday through Sunday at Pebble Beach.

Gonzaga, Washington extend basketball series for four games through 2024 season

UPDATED: Mon., June 10, 2019, 9:44 p.m.

The programs have agreed to extend the series for another four games, beginning at the McCarthey Athletic Center in the 2021 season. The teams close out the current four-year contract this winter at Alaska Airlines Arena.
