SWX can be seen free over the air on 6-2 in Spokane, 25-3 in the Tri-Cities area and 23-3 in the Yakima area. The 24-hour-a-day sports and weather channel can also be seen on cable in the following regions: Spokane, Coeur d'Alene, Moscow, Pullman, Lewiston, Tri-Cities and Yakima (check local listings for channel assignments).
Currently, SWX is not available on DirecTV or DISH Network. Having SWX on satellite is KHQ's number one priority, and we ask that viewers help the process along by calling their satellite provider and ask that SWX be given a channel placement. The response we have received from DISH and Direct is they don't have enough space for secondary digital channels. KHQ feels local should be a high priority. We are trying to change their minds with the help of our viewers. So please keep calling and let them know your feelings about how important it is to show local weather and sports on SWX on the Satellite. Again, KHQ appreciates your help and support with this.
DISH Network customers demand the satellite companies carry SWX by calling 1-888-825-2557 (Dish Network) and 1-888-777-2454 (DirecTV).
