SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - Less than two months after the Spokane Shock said goodbye to their championship-winning coach, Adam Shackleford could have another job that would keep him in Eastern Washington.
Shackleford confirmed to SWX on Monday that he met with Pat O’Hara of the Tri-Cities Fever about joining his coaching staff for the upcoming AF1 season. Shackleford would be an assistant to O’Hara.
Shackleford, who led the Shock to an af2 championship last season, said talks with O’Hara are in their preliminary stages. He added he’s still hoping to land a job as a head coach somewhere.
