Brooks Continues Quest for Pro Baseball Career

Tiffany Brooks, from Spokane, continues to pursue a career in professional baseball.

Brooks told KHQ on Thursday she's been invited to spring training with the Pecos League next year. She's also talking with the St. Paul Saints about a possible tryout. Brooks will also be the only woman attending the California Winter League this year.

Brooks had a shot playing first base with the Big Bend Cowboys in Alpine Texas in spring. That opportunity didn't pan out.

The Pecos League is an independent professional baseball league Headquartered in Houston which operates in cities throughout Texas, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona. Pecos Teams play in cities that do not have Major or Minor League Baseball teams and is not affiliated with either.
